By Renato:<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/span><\/span> In an increasingly fast-paced and consumerist world, people often seek quick solutions \u2014 remedies that promise relief without requiring genuine inner transformation. <\/p>\n

Many want to feel better, but not necessarily to know themselves better. Yet true self-knowledge demands time, reflection, honesty, and a sincere willingness to change.<\/p>\n

Astrology \u2014 which Carl Jung described as \u201cthe sum of all the psychological knowledge of antiquity\u201d \u2014 can guide us on this inward journey. Through the study of celestial symbols and dynamics, it reveals what Jung called \u201cintuitive psychological truths projected onto the sky.\u201d This journey, however, is not one-way. It unfolds through a living dialogue between macrocosm and microcosm, between heaven and earth, between the Universe and the human soul.<\/p>\n

As a tool for self-knowledge, Astrology was never meant to console, but to reveal. And as a tool for self-development, it was not meant merely to expose, but to refine. It should not serve as confirmation bias \u2014 excusing flaws, errors, or vices (\u201cI have the Moon in Aries, so of course I\u2019m reactive\u201d) \u2014 nor as a crutch for complacency. Instead, by illuminating what may hinder us, Astrology offers the opportunity for conscious transmutation: a true alchemical process of refining character, awareness, and choice.<\/p>\n

Astrology does not perform miracles, nor is it a magical shortcut. Self-awareness brings responsibility. To see clearly means being called not to repeat the same patterns \u2014 or at the very least, to make a sincere effort not to. When we lack self-knowledge, we fall into repetitive behaviors that we often mislabel as \u201cdestiny.\u201d Yet when awareness is present and patterns persist unchanged, that is no longer fate \u2014 it is negligence. Astrology does not promise comfort; it promises consciousness. And consciousness carries responsibility, both toward oneself and toward others. <\/p>\n

Here, I speak of serious Astrology: a discipline grounded in deep study and research, intrinsically connected to the psychological, temperamental, and cognitive dimensions of the human being. This is not the \u201cInstagram-ready\u201d version of Astrology \u2014 the modern heir of old newspaper horoscopes \u2014 which reduces an entire individual to a single Sun sign, or turns isolated chart factors into marketable products, stripped of context, nuance, and depth.<\/p>\n

Astrology is also not \u201cesoteric\u201d in the theatrical sense. Beware of inflated language drenched in pseudo-mysticism and unnecessary jargon. Astrology can be expressed in clear, contemporary language without losing its depth. Certainly, it rests upon a vast spiritual, hermetic, symbolic, and occult foundation \u2014 rooted in ancestral myths that inhabit the collective unconscious and appear across cultures, civilizations, and religions throughout history. But to present Astrology as something accessible only to the \u201cchosen,\u201d endowed with rare or unreachable gifts, is to remove its relevance for modern humanity and place it upon a distant Olympus reserved for those claiming a special \u201cpsychic passport.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nor is Astrology a game. Social-media trends that reduce it to compatibility rankings, caricatures, or hierarchical jokes represent banality at its worst. Astrology is a body of knowledge, and like all true knowledge, it demands study, discipline, and commitment. Becoming an astrologer takes years of learning \u2014 through books, courses, seminars, and the careful analysis of countless charts.<\/p>\n

At its core, Astrology is the study of the human being and the symbolic framework that shapes their journey. It is an ancestral wisdom that has endured for millennia. That alone \u2014 the unveiling of the human psyche and the reconnection of the individual to something greater than themselves \u2014 is what renders Astrology sacred.<\/p>\n
