By Ann: For thousands of years, people have sought healing through nature, prayer and faith.

Long before modern medicine, ancient civilisations looked to the earth’s natural gifts and the power of spiritual connection to bring comfort, hope and restoration. Today, many people continue to embrace Crystal Healing and Absent Healing as complementary therapies that nurture the body, mind and spirit.

Crystal Healing

Crystal Healing is based on the belief that naturally formed gemstones carry unique vibrational energies that can help restore balance and encourage wellbeing. Each crystal is believed to possess its own qualities and purpose.

Clear Quartz is often referred to as the “Master Healer” because it is believed to amplify healing energy and positive intention. Rose Quartz is associated with unconditional love, compassion and emotional healing, while Amethyst is valued for its calming influence and spiritual clarity. Black Tourmaline is traditionally used for protection and grounding, Citrine for confidence and positivity, and Selenite for cleansing and bringing peace.

Many people choose to meditate with crystals, carry them throughout the day, or include them in healing sessions. Whether used individually or combined with prayer and meditation, crystals offer many people a sense of calm, focus and spiritual connection.

Absent Healing

Absent Healing, also known as Distance Healing, is another practice that has brought comfort to people around the world. It is founded on the belief that prayer, compassion and healing intention are not limited by physical distance.

A person receiving Absent Healing does not need to be physically present. Instead, the practitioner quietly focuses on the individual through prayer, meditation and loving intention, asking for God’s healing grace to surround them wherever they may be.

Many recipients describe experiencing feelings of peace, emotional comfort, hope and renewed strength following a healing session. While each person’s experience is different, these moments of calm and reassurance can provide valuable support during times of illness, stress or personal difficulty.

More Than 50 Years of Healing

For more than 50 years, I have been privileged to practise both Crystal Healing and Absent Healing. Throughout my journey, I have met people from all walks of life who have sought comfort, hope and spiritual support during challenging times. Their heartfelt stories and personal experiences have strengthened my faith in the healing power of prayer, compassion and unconditional love.

My healing work is deeply rooted in my Christian faith. Every Absent Healing session begins with prayer, asking Archangel Raphael, traditionally known as the Angel of Healing, to surround each recipient with God’s healing light, peace, protection and love. I believe that God works in ways beyond our understanding and that healing often unfolds gently over time according to His divine will.

Many people tell me they feel calmer, more peaceful and emotionally stronger after receiving healing. Although no practitioner can promise specific results, I believe that sincere prayer, faith and loving intention can bring comfort, encouragement and hope during life’s most difficult moments.

Working Alongside Medical Care

Crystal Healing and Absent Healing naturally complement one another. During healing sessions, carefully selected crystals may be used while prayers are offered, creating a peaceful environment that encourages relaxation and spiritual wellbeing. For many people, this combination becomes a deeply meaningful experience that nurtures both heart and soul.

It is important to understand that these therapies are intended to complement, not replace, conventional medical care. Doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals play an essential role in diagnosing and treating illness. Prayer, Crystal Healing and Absent Healing may provide additional emotional, mental and spiritual support alongside professional medical treatment. Caring for our wellbeing often involves looking after the whole person—body, mind and spirit.

Scientific research has not demonstrated that crystals possess healing energies beyond their known physical properties, nor has it confirmed that absent healing can directly influence health outcomes through measurable mechanisms. However, research does suggest that practices such as prayer, meditation, relaxation and emotional support can contribute to reduced stress, improved emotional wellbeing and greater resilience. For many people, complementary therapies provide comfort, hope and a deeper sense of spiritual connection.

Faith, Hope and Healing

One of the greatest gifts we can offer another person is sincere prayer offered with love and compassion. As Jesus reminds us in the Gospel of Matthew:

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you.”

Matthew 7:7

These words have inspired countless generations to place their trust in God’s love and guidance. For those who believe, there is no greater source of hope than God, Jesus Christ and the loving ministry of His Holy Angels.

Whether you seek Crystal Healing, Absent Healing or simply the comfort of knowing someone is praying for you, healing often begins with hope. Through faith, compassion and love, we can find strength to face life’s challenges with courage and peace.

May God’s blessings surround you, may Archangel Raphael guide your healing journey, and may your heart always be filled with faith, hope and love.
